Ghana striker Seidu Bancey wants his colleagues to forget their slim win over Congo and shift focus to their next game against Libya in the ongoing CHAN tournament.
The Local Black Stars managed a narrow 1-0 win over the Red Devils at the Free State Stars stadium in Bloemfontein on Monday.
Bancey, who plays for Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko and earned a late call-up into the team, wants the team to focus on their next game against group leaders Libya on Friday.
“We have won and must forget about that. The focus should be on our next game,” Bancey said
“There is no need to talk about what we should have done and what we should not have done against Congo.
“We won which is the most important thing. We must start strategizing for Libya because that game will obviously be tough as well.
“We need to keep the focus and keep the title dream alive.”
Medeama ace Theophilus Anoobah scored the only goal of the match for the West Africans to leave them second on the table after Libya stunned Ethiopia 2-0 in the second group C game.
