Razak Brimah to play in Spain this season

Ghana goalkeeper Razak Braimah has been promoted into the first team of Cordoba which means he will be playing in the Spanish top-flight in the coming season, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 27-year-old only joined the club in January where he was made to work with the reserve side who were in danger of getting relegated from the Spanish third tier.

Braimah’s vital contribution helped the Caliphs escape relegation in group four of Spain’s third tier league.

He has now been rewarded for his good form exhibited while with the reserve side with a promotion into the first team who have secured promotion to La Liga.

This means the Ghana international who has already started pre-season with the side stands a chance of keeping the post for Cordoba against some of the best players in the world who play in the Spanish top flight.

The ex FC Nania shot-stopper must however first win a regular first team place under manager Albert Ferrer in order to display his immense talent.

Brimah did not make Ghana’s squad for the 2014 World Cup having been named in a four-man stand-by list by coach Kwesi Appiah.
