Emmanuel Asante completes move to Asante Kotoko

Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of defender Emmanuel Asante from Bechem United. The left back has penned a three-year deal with the Ghana Premier League champions.

Kotoko have lost two left-backs Ben Adama who signed for AS Kaloum of Guinea and Ugandan Joseph Ochaya.

“Yes, I can confirm that I have signed with Asante Kotoko for three years and I’m ready to fight for my position in the team,” Asante told Ghanasportsonline.com.

“It was true that Accra Hearts of Oak were also interested but I’m a professional and I have taken this decision which I know will hugely benefit my career.

“I plead with the fans to give me the needed support and atmosphere to also serve the club well and win trophies”.
