Divine Travel CEO lauds young Tennis stars

Jason Onyame, the Chief Executive of Divine Travels has praise Table Tennis players who came from all over Ghana to participate in the National Under 15 Open at the Accra Sports Hall on Saturday March 8, 2014.

Onyame who was a finalist and runners-up in the Executive Class Tournament said the national has a very bright future with the skill and talent displayed during the event.

He commended all the participants and congratulated the winners, including Mr. Samuel Dei who won the Executive class and his daughter Lawrencia Dei, winner of the female division. The male competition was won by Emmanuel Ofori from the Eastern Region.

Jason Onyame noted that the children who can play best should be selected and groomed to become better and should be made to travel out to participate in international competitions to keep them always competitive and in shape.

He urged the students to study hard just like they play hard and strive to become important people in future.

Lawrencia Dei took first position in the girls Under 15 competition, followed by Matilda Fodu who was seventh last year, Augustina Badu was third and Elizabeth Yeboah took the fourth position.

Emmanuel Ofori won the boys Under 15 category beating Godwin Nyarku. Ernest Okere was third and Emmanuel Aboagye fourth.

All the mentioned players received trophies, equipment, such as balls, bats, and cash prizes.
