They are doing this because the country is overpopulated and want to send their people to go and live in other countries. Soon Ghana is going to face Chinese immigrants more than they're having now. When will Ghanaian leaders think outside a box? Nothing goes out for nothing when deal with Asians. Ghana' s lands will soon be occupied by Chinese.

Are you afraid that the Chinese will immigrate to Ghana? Do you know the number of Ghanaians living outside Ghana? They are in their thousands. You don’t want foreigners to come to Ghana? Look at the cars you see on our roads, the machines you find in our factories, the medical equipments you find in our hospitals, etc. None of these things is manufactured in Ghana. In fact, we don’t manufacture anything we use in the country. It is Ghanaians living outside the country who bring in most of these things, including getting money from the work they do outside Ghana that allow them to put up homes here to minimize the housing problem the country has. No nation can survive without in a way depending on some other country. We need each other, and China is the best overseas country Ghana could have as a partner.
The western countries like Britain and America have exploited us for long without giving us commensurate returns. Let’s open our arms for the Chinese if cooperation with them will give us the chance to move forward and develop our country. We have never had 5billion from any country before, so we should be very, very grateful to the Chinese people for this largesse of close to $20billion. Again, remember that minerals if they remain in the soil without being exploited are useless and have no value. So it is smart to engage the Chinese to be able to exploit our minerals for the benefit of both countries.
