Having admited several times that, the corruption in Ghana now far exceeds what he accused the army generals then of, his logical next step should have been to offer an unqualified apology to the Ghanaian public. He robbed many of their parents, sent many more into exile, closed down the livelyhoods of thousands and disrupted the business of governance, education and many more for years.
No punishment goes unpunished.

The subsequent killing of three Akan judges and an Akan former military officer was not for nothing. Rawlings and his tribal cabal had a strategic objective of subjugating the people of Ghana and looting the resources of the country. Who in Ghana is richer than Rawlings and the Tsikatas? Some in the then junta felt a personal obligation to eliminate the generals. There were others too who had grudges based on ethnic grounds. They wanted to settle scores and it is the same sentiments that led to the killing of the judges. They were all Akans. Regarding the generals and the other officers, and as Rawlings later said, Amedume and Utuka were included to even the scores. What a crock of shit!!! And Rawlings is still alive and enjoying life with his family. Considering what Ghanaians now know and what Rawlings and his wife did he shouldn't be alive to say the things he says.
It is too late for Nunoo-Mensah to express these sentiments. Those patriots died for nothing.

Today, if the measure was to be used, almost everyone would be good for the firing squad. Ghanaians never learn, as they forget very quickly, which is why I believe it's never going to be a country on its feet and prosperous. People apportion blames instead of facing the essential and doing what is important.

When Kufuor's corruption was addressed, he said very famously corruption started from Adam just because he himself was being in the forefront. What can one do if the number one person of the country is rhetorically being sarcastic about corruption; who will then fight it?

Talk is cheap, but while at it, it is a shame to the whole continent that we see generations go down while we look at the continent more rotten than it was, and the only way out is to wake up and go to the West for money to come waste.
