now the people in this country are reasoning,
why should a whole nation with experts , sitdown unconcerned to build huge ramps on our roads, and streets where the speed limit is above 30km/h ?

On the highways all across the country these speed rumps are damaging vehicles and the amount of money spend by vehicle owners repairing these vehicles is phenomenal. It is about time the government introduced other modern technology readily available to check and punish over speeding. The use of speed cameras is widespread in many countries and I believe the facilities are available for these cameras to be introduced in Ghana. These must be permanently fixed cameras, not the hand held ones used by the police. Every town along the highways should have these cameras installed so the over speeding vehicles can be captured and dealt with.

Good Point there GNFS. The High& Heavy Load Haulers, ambulances car ringing sick and pregnant women etc, etc. are the most victims. These ramps have made Ghana too premitive a Nation in these modern times. Those who see it as a good and right thing must travel around the Globe. Fact that Ghanaians are lawless on our roads does not make us animals to be treated this way .NOTE! Ramp contractors make too much money as such will never stop .More money than building Roads and easy to build.

The number of speed ramps in the western world and their fire services have never moaned about it!!. Road users in Ghana should be educated on respecting the sound of the fire service siren and give way for easy passage.

The problem with speed ramps is that they slow down traffic but they slow down emergency vehicles also. I.e. Fire service , ambulances and police vechicles responding to emergency calls
