The story the police are presenting here doesn't add up.An officer alone in an area so dangerous they had to call the army ? Tried to identify himself but did not succeed so short at them and one person ended up with a bullet in his leg . This is a shoddy investigation meant to cover the truth that he was there to cut a deal with criminals and they thought it was cheaper for them to kill him. We all know that town is a stronghold of NDC for decades so they not know who he was or not have their links to the army is bullshit . Anybody knows you hear the name Mahama and you know some sophisticated fishy business or crime is being committed using various institutions as their camouflage cover . You listen to the various videos and you may even hear the gunshots of the captain shooting at the people but no where was he shouting as required to identify himself. Because the people are Akans its easier to blame them instead of finding out the truth. The story doesnt add up , anyone who has taken the time to travel around most pats of the Central region will observe even in the middle of the night even white girls , tourists Europeans and other foreigners walking alone or roaming around unaccompanied and nothing ever happens to them . But then again every once in a while we hear of some white-man being killed because of some gold deal. Lynching is wrong but this has elements of self defense and over reactions to it, remember he fired his gun at the people before with courage they disarmed him . It would have been better if they had handed him over to the police but we all know he would have paid a bribe and those who had apprehended him would have been languishing in jail . There can be no peace without the assurance of justice. On this forum we notice all the lying hypocrites who have come out to condemn the town but fail to notice the crimes committed like corruption , nepotism , incompetence etc. A sin is a sin and a crime a crime , why turn a blind eye to corruption and yet talk shit about one lynch. Police stations are being burned to the ground and now most security agency personnel are scared and shitting in their pants because soon the people will arise. Npp , Ndc and most of the media are in a hype propaganda mode to blame the innocent people of the town rather than properly look at the suspicious activities of the captain . First he was jogging alone with a gun in plain sight . Rather than identify himself chose to engage in shooting at the residents , a sign of substandard training or criminal intent . He was on duty and an officer but had no other lower ranking soldiers accompanying him , was he deployed there to be on holiday so could go jogging around ? Never trust these security forces especially the army as they are involved in all kinds of criminal activity and always have sophisticated propaganda lies to make it appear they did nothing wrong. A wise man once said its stupidity to know the truth but chose to believe the lie.

I agree with Jerry R. the party needs a breed of new leaders with untainted baggage of corruption. That's the way forward.

The temptation for good life by the John mahama led government was so pronounced and plain for a sitting president to gloss over,the warning came from well meaning Ndc members but were greeted with wild insults without reprimand from the then president.The former president himself was sighted in corruption allegations,one by a very senior member of his party Mr martin Amidu who exposed a committee that was to investigate the former president on some aircrafts he purchased for the state,two the Ford car bribe he took from a burkinabe contractor,Amanjaro and the involvement of his brothers in big big state contracts such as the tamale airport expansion,tema port expansion,Takoradi port expansion and many more nailed the Ndc.Most of the NDC members also thought they should enrich themselves rather than protect the public purse,with this so fresh on our minds I don't see why anybody in the ndc can even contemplate bring this corrupt John mahama Ghanaians overwhelmingly rejected back,for me it ll be the biggest insult,be that as it may,it's becoming increasingly clear that John mahama only speaks English but does not understand what he says.Why did he used the letter he claimed his father wrote to the late military leader General Acheampong that one should bow out when the applause is loudest?if he really understood what he said,then he has no reason to hold the NDC to ransom by not coming clean on contesting the next elections in 2020?i pray that he fails to see his next defeat just as he didn't see that of the last election,whoever leads the NDC in 2020 ll be a simple walkover but for the sake of the proper reorganization of the NDC John mahama led down,he should show love by denouncing his interests to lead the party to pave the way for a new faces with integrity to lead the NDC.Apart from stealing money they also allow galamsey to destroy the country of which the spillover still taking innocent lives.The good people left in the ndc must take a radical approach to freeing the party from the hands of this political wolves who mismanaged the party and government,if the mean well Asiedu Nketia,John mahama,Omane Boamah must take a back seat before any reorganization can take place,Asiedu Nketia was given too much powers to the destruction of the relationship of the former with the party,it ll cause them much to repair the damage he has done to the NDC,it ll even be much more if they fail to employ the right moves to patch the mess of Asiedu Nketia,not even he himself can repair it.
