You have been or you are still in leadership role in Ghana and you think people should be allowed after some years to go back anf continue this horrible activity? Go to some countries, like Botwana, and get yourself acquainted with the rules and regulations guiding mining and see whether what has happened in Ghana can happen there.

There are other avenues of making a decent living in Ghana apart from galamsay mining and small- scale mining, which is today DESTROYING our very existence as a people and country.The technology CURRENTLY is not environmentally friendly but very destructive.We need a long period of a BAN for the technic to develope and ALLOW the generations of tomorrow whom we have BURDENED with ndc stolen DEBTS to exploite the gold to pay these DEBTS.People who entered into it SHD as a matter of PRINCIPLE have the MEANS to invest in other more lawful and productive areas of the ECONOMY.Govt must investigate if true that national service personel got into the galamsay or small-scale mining and the REPORTED plane from Ghana carrying Gold to either TURKEY or IRAN cos the EVILS might have been at work.
