The graduate guy is responsible, and civilise to go down for such job. Atleast, he is trying to make earn meals of his or her own. An industrious person to emulate.

I really don't understand why Dumelo should be taken to task for what he did and said? He is very right to draw attention to the graduate illegally hawking on the street, even it were gold chains. Has all previous govts not been trying to stop hawking on streets? Including this current govt? See what they are trying to do at the Circle Interchange. I applaud them for chasing the hawkers away. The social media is featuring videos of people who didn't understand no hawking signs put at strategic places. It is really a pity school leavers can't understand such a simple English.

And secondly, the man was hawking bread? Something must be definitely wrong for a KNUST hawker to be hawking bread on the street and John was entitled to find out why? The answer was provided in the article, that the "hawker" was actually a CEO of a bakery and was just on field work again to get the feel of the job; and so he is not a poor struggling man eking out a living on the streets selling bread. Nothing wrong with that but why on the street? Of course, that's where some of his sellers have been selling his bread. John was obviously not told this side of the story, as someone certainly told him the "hawker" was a KNUST grad.

Whichever way one looks at the story, John Dumelo did nothing wrong by drawing attention to the graduate illegally hawking bread on the street.
He doesn't need to apologise to anyone. The man must be stopped from selling his bread on the streets.

Those insulting him should ask if they will be happy to see their families investing much in someone's education to end up selling bread in the streets? I won't be happy but side with Dumelo to ask what went wrong. It's a shame to see people always being blindfolded by politics instead of using their head. Just one example from my favorite NBA team; Golden state warriors, the lady who makes cakes for them didn't study anything related to cake at UC, Berkeley. But now she's making great cakes beyond the entire San Francisco Bay Area . The business is fully expanding.
