Despite all the statements on the web, I have also suspected the wife knows more than she is saying. Here is why;

1. How did the two guys know the bedroom the husband was sleeping in?
2.Why did the murderers skip the first floor, and went upstairs to look for JB?
3.The killers came inside the house. Where was she? And where was the security man?
4. Who left the ladder/scaffold in a convenient place to help the murderers easy access to the top level?
5. Why was the family dog not barking at night?
6. What is her relation with Stan Dogbe?
7. What is her relationship with Victor Smith?
8.Why has she not asked the public to assist her to find her husband's murderer(s)?
9. Why didn't the killers take anything else but a cell phone? Note that she also has a similar phone. Phones are far more common in Ghana now.
10. Why did these two murderers have to travel all the way from Ashaiman to East Legon just to murder a sitting MP just to take his cell phone, knowing full well that there were a security guard and other members of the family around?

1. Take it from me, many married men and women do not share bedrooms together either due to snoring or strained relations. A strained relationship is not a reason to have one killed. So sleeping in separate bedrooms is really not the issue here.

2. How did the murderers know which room the MP was sleeping in the house? It seems to me it was the ONLY room they entered in the house. Did someone tip them where he was sleeping that night?

3. If a murderer is entering a home with the intent of stealing just a cell phone, why climb all the way up to the second floor? Why not the first floor where she also had a cell phone?

4. Even if the husband was having an affair, is it a justification for his murder?
5. By the way, could the properties be a motive to have him killed by someone she knew?

6. What do you say about the reported affair she is rumored to be having with Stan Dogbe? Is she deserving of the same fate?

7. You did not answer about the security guard who was supposed to be present that night?

8. Yes, most grieving wives and family often ask the public to assist the police to track the murderers. Often they give very invaluable (important details) information to the public or the police to help track the killers. Has she offered any such help?

9. Why is she hiding or silent since her husband's murder?

10. Someone orchestrated the murder of JB, and she and others sure know more than they are saying. No matter what once views are about JB, let us all work hard to lock up the murderers. By the way, Johnathan, if one day you come missing I hope you wish someone helps to find your killers. I suspect powerful men behind this murder. The boys did not climb to his room just to steal cell phone they could find in many many places in Accra.

The questions one must be asking is why was the case taken from the original officer who was handling the case and the accused was sent to the BNI? That officer was on the verge of getting to the bottom of the case. The family must stop harassing that innocent woman and seek proper Justice. Where were the family when JB was nearly killed at the behest of his girlfriend at a hotel in Accra. Just give the woman a break. If he does not want the man she could seek divorce but to contract to kill her husband, who was a loving father to her two kids, who would give them that comfort that they were enjoying? Please I will advise the family to petition the President so that the original investigator is brought back to handle the matter. JUST LEAVE IVY ALONE

4. We are told jb struggled with the assailant. So the wife didn't hear the struggle or screams from jb for help?

Other questions such as 1. Was JB having an affair outside marriage? If so, there could be a motive. 2. What was the behaviour or reaction of the wife after the death? 3. Has the wife got a mobile phone? If so has her phone call records been checked to determine when she made her last call and to whom? Also, did she make calls to any strange number? If so using technology, you can track the positions of both wife and person she called? There are so many leads that can come from such simple exercise.

I will be surprised if the wife hasn't already been investigated because that should have been one of he first things any good investigator will do.

@ Ato, in cases like this, the number one beneficiary is always a suspect. I have watched similar cases on tv here in the USA and most of them a family member has a hand in it usually the spouse.

This guy and the wife ate supper together,had a nice time with the wife after that.when they decided to go to bed.this lady told the man she's going to luck up all the doors,not knowing she rather went and opened all the doors and joined the man in bed.
She hired killers from somanya ogome and arranged with them to kill the man,because the man told her earlier in the day that she will be bringing some huge money home from the contract he won.
Initially no one suspected the lady until like 2years later when she refuse to pay the killer all the amount they charged her that these killers wrote a letter which landed in the hands of the maidservant,who gave the letter to their neighbors to read.which confirmed that,the lady was behind her husband's killing.so pls we shouldn't be judgmental here.it's the family member's opinion.
These very case was handled at the cantonment police station and was also in the media.
