    THAT'S THE WAY FORWARD: GIVE THE JOB OUT TO THE PRIVATE SECTOR AND HOLD A CANE READY OVER THEM. WHOEVER FAILS IS WHIPPED OUT, CONTRACT TERMINATED AND GIVEN TO A COMPANY THAT CAN DO IT BETTER. THAT'S ALL.

    Plastics cannot be banned in this era where we want to be processing and storing water, food etc for use. What we should bet thinking of is the collection of such materials for recycling purposes.

    The names of the 11 Companies and their respective zones must be published in the local papers to facilitate process of collection and particularly the payment of monthly bills by the citizens.

    They should be a monitoring unit to supervise the sub-contractors and if they failed they should be fined .
