I agree with the concern of these people. Honorable KT Hammond deserves to be given a position. He should have been appointed the deputy majority leader, a minister of deputy minister. NPP has not been fair to this man.

We all know how Mr. Hammond defended the cause of NPP in opposition. What we do not know is how much money he contributed to the campaign of Akuffo Addo. Have you not all known that people who stoof by Akuffo Addo in rain and sunshine but had little or no money and do not come from Akyem have been overlooked. It is not Hammond alone, no one should forget how Sir John stood by Akuffo Addo and thereby lost his post as secretary and now look where he has been pushed to! First he was appointed to head Ports Authority but the Akyem maffia needed the position for another man so Sir John was pushed to take the job that had been given to Wontumi who won Asante votes. Hammond must be lucky not to have been given a post and later to be taken away. Check all the senior ministries and those who have been assigned to them. Akuffo Addo almost forgot Asante until some voiciferous people started talking before some from the region were given second-class ministerial appointments. Please Adanse group, keep cool. Compare the number of Akyems with ministerial appointments with the percentage of votes from that area or the whole eastern region and see that of Asante with its percentage votes. This means Asantes can vote but it has not enough intelligent men and women to hold ministerial appointments.

When the begin to fumble at the Ministry and in Parliament, they will look for KT Hammond!
