INSTITUTIONS.In USA, we have 50 STATES,and
each STATE has A capital CITY. The CITY
has its' GOVERNMENT, and STATE has its'
STATE GOVERNMENT. Then the ENTIRE COUNTRY
has its' GOVERNMENT--THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC
OF USA. All the 50 STATES and their CAPITAL
CITIES have their ADMINISTRATIVE BODIES.
Look at HOW HUGE the country is GOVERNED.
Ghana is not A FEDERAL COUNTRY as such
and so we cannot have the strength of
GOVERNMENT like USA. The 110 member
ADMINISTRATIVE BODY of NANA ADDO is
NOTHING to comment about. The work will be
well done. There will be more and GOOD WORK
done, together with PROPER ACCOUNTABILITY.
The DEPUTIES WILL BE FLYING SQUADS to
inspect projects and other things. REGIONS
WILL BE DEVELOPED due to proper management
and accountability. 110 MINISTERIAL POSTS
are for PROPER WORK DONE. GHANAIANS
TALK a LOT . This GOVERNMENT is LESS
than THREE MONTHS OLD. THE NDC PARTY
MEMBERS ARE BEHIND THIS BIG CRY. THEY
WANT to DERAIL AKUFO ADDO'S GOVERNMENT.

How can we appoint all Ghanaians as ministers of state as declared by a lecturer of KNUST. In that case who is going to supervise who. I don't know why some academicians will decide to talk like serial callers. I don't think even party foot soldiers at the local level will behave like this. Look, in countries where there are lean governments you will realize that governance is closer to the people. For instance, in federal republics like Germany, USA, Nigeria,etc, you will realize that a governor of a state has legislatures and secretaries/commissioners (ministers) at the state level to help them perform their mandate. This is not so with a centralized system like Ghana - especially when we have a very weak and ineffective civil and public service system. So with great challenges at hand, what do you expect the NPP government to do when the previous NDC government has increased Ghana's debt stock by 250% in just 8years. We need the expertise of these appointees to help us create wealth in order to be able to honour our monstrous obligations when they fall due.

We have to blame the 1992 Constitution.If Ghanianian think that we have to get not more than 30 ministers then we have to amend the 1992 Constitution.It will serve Ghana good or better if the 1992 Constitution is re written.

How i wish Mr. Gatsi can tell Ghanaians how many ministers the Prez needs to govern. As lecturers, I was thinking they would base their arguments on scientific research which shows the prez. with less number of ministers performed creditably and the end result is a thriving economy. But instead all I hear let's do it the same way as usual. My God! with this mindset from our lecturers, how can we move forward. This business as usual has brought us misery. If I will lose 1 millon by spending 100 cedis and earn 1 million by spending 500 cedis which is better. Let's give the Prez the benefit of the doubt instead of this business as usual thing. Why can't we do things differently and embrace change for a start to progress and prosperity that the Prez has promised?
