I am amused, when I hear NDC people "go ape", over an issue such as 110 Ministerial appointments. People like this Anyidoho, who did not say a word at the excesses of Mahama go bonkers at these appointments. I wonder how the number 110, was arrived at. I am concerned at this number, but I am not ready to shout "fire and brimstone" yet. Once again, just as Mahama before him, Akuffo Addo, as President of the Republic of Ghana, has sweeping and largely unchecked executive powers. A legacy of Jerry Rawlings. I was dismayed when the size of the Supreme Court was doubled. This is allowed by the Ghana constitution. That same constitution allows the appointment of however many "Ministers", as Ghana's Chief Executive Officer, deems necessary to do his job - - subject only to political considerations. When the NDC wielded political power and Anyidoho enjoyed the benefits of that power, he did not exercise caution. Indeed, he was one of the people to "roll in the dough", like a pig at a mud bath. One keeps in mind that he is a politician, and the worst kind of politician at that. I am willing to see how Akuffo Addo's strategy plays out. In the meantime, based on the track record of the NDC and people like Anyidoho, I am willing to take a chance on Akuffo Addo.
