They should have conducted their investigation well before coming out public,it could be that some ignorant people in Accra are doing that but the producers will not do that,the whole noise about koobi is not necessary.

Sometimes I scratch my head endlessly trying to find any reasonable excuse why the leadership of the PNDC appointed you to a position of trust in its administration.I know you still miss those years where buga-buga was used to solve many problems.
Corney,if you have done your own research, you would have realized that the Food and Drug Administration in Ghana has also confirmed what the Minister said. Some koobi sellers at Makola have also corroborated the story. There are many videos in which these women are showing the public the differences between koobis that have been formalin treated and those that have been salted.
Corney, I know you cannot imagine a world without koobi. You can build a silo in Denver and store tons of the fish in there for yourself. You may also join the suit. Just leave the Minister and the FDA alone to protect the public.

Prof. Frimpong Boateng is only talking about Formalin and they are making noise. They are in the habit of using DDT to catch tilapia. Such DDT tilapia in most cases is used for koobi in order to hide the effect of the chemical in salt.The effect of chemicals for fishing contributed in small to deplete the fish stock in the lake so much that we have now resorted to eating another dangerous version of tilapia,caged one.

If you know the biochemistry involved in rotting and its harmful effect on the body you wouldn't touch koobi, even, with a long stick. Do you know why it is advised that cooked food should not be kept in the refrigerator for more than four days yet this is a common mistake committed by most Ghanaians, especially university students and educated elites. The microbial agents or the volatile chemical substances produced are destroyed, Why should cooked foods not be kept in a refrigerator for more than four days?
