We can't get away with such statement in any advanced country without specific orientation.
Are we going to export semi finished products,finished products,agriculture crops or what?So you see,there is no clear direction of where we are going and even if there is a concept there is no solid foundation to do so.Perhaps we may increase the production of cocoa,gold and oïl,the traditional exports.I think we are in a vague situation now.We need transparency which is not the case today.Thank you.

Haruna passes as an intellectual but I don't think he's really one. Or is it mischief or politics. When you do that you only end up making a mockery of your self. Does listing an entity on a stock exchange mean selling off that entity? When Ghana was listed on the European bond to raise funds did it mean entity Ghana has been sold? Do share holders have real ownership of a company?Can they seize a company's asset because they feel they are owners? They're only bond holders. If the company doesn't do well the avenue they have for recouping their capital is pass on their liabilities to other people by offloading their holdings to the stock market for some unsuspecting investor to buy.And so long as you haven't found a buyer you bear your burden hoping the company's fortune turn and earn some dividends. In fact what remedies do you have because a company hasn't declared dividends for decades and the shares are not even attractive to buyers? A case in point is PBC, AGC, CPC. Worthless companies. Investors have lost out. Hope you find this informative.
