Those who comment must provide readers an opportunity to make sense from what they read as we all find solution by means of ideas

Sixty years of independence and we cannot construct a single dual carriageway to link our major cities. Yet we have the audacity to accuse Nigeria of squandering their oil wealth. At least they have invested in sound road infrastructure and are not daily murdering their citizens in reckless abandonment of their responsibilities as we do in Ghana.
A top priority of this government should be the completion of the dualization of the Accra -Kumasi highway in the short term while programming dual carriageways for Kumasi - Paga, Accra - Elubo and Accra - Aflao. Eventually, all inter - city connections should be dualized.
As a further measure to check the carnage on our major roads, the rehabilitation of existing railway infrastructure must be tackled while drawing up plans and " financially engineering " the Sekondi - Paga proposal.
Contrary to the opinion of Wereko Brobbey, I believe we deserve to celebrate our mediocrity!

When you think about the fact that in 2017, our major highways are single lanes in either direction, it is not hard to understand why these accidents happen so often. Just not acceptable.

Are we human beings at all? I mean for how long will this go on. Broken down vehicles are killing people on our roads like flies and we just sit and count the death toll. What at all is wrong with the Black man. I always say that one of the biggest difference between the whites and us is the value they place on lives. In Africa and Ghana in particular no one cares. The police am sure had driven past this broken down truck a number of times but they just don't care!!!
