  I think the highways authority could have done better by arranging for an improvised bridge by the 48 Engineers from the Ghana Army to avoid this long journey through Sawla. It shows we are not forward thinking as a people.

  The highways authority has neglected the Kumasi-Yeji-Salaga-Tamale route which since independence was the main road connecting the North to the South. It is a lot more shorter to Accra as Motorists will completely avoid the hectic traffic of Kumasi by routing through Mampong-Nsuta-Kwamang-Agogo-Asankare . By this route, travel time is reduced by some 3 hours.
  We should therefore take a second look at developing this route to offer motorists alternative convenience.

  People elected to serve us now think they have the power to make themselves very comfortable and also they want us to worship them all at our expense.
