Akuffo Addo's recent vote of thanks at AU seems to have some Akan terminologies which comprehensively are not applicable to the situation at that time.
Strictly speaking as a pure Akan Akufo Addo must be aware that the phrase NANTE EYIE is logically used to bid eternity farewell rather than when one gracefully leaves an office.
Why then was such a phares conferred on President Sirleaf of Liberia ?
The current advance world calls for speech writers to censor out words before applicable.
Ghanaians ought not to shame their Presidents publicly before blame acceptance.
There are modern Akan words that are more praise worthy than NANTE EYIE to a woman who has uphold the lights of democracy in Africa
