Historians will be the judge but I personally doubt it.The end of his presidency did not justify the means through which he became president in the first place.His popularity had waned so badly he had no option but to leave office so they can go enjoy their loot.
We are glad for him as a former president.We would however be glad the memory of him, his cohorts and the crooks that surrounded him fades into oblivion.... Something we should never re-visit. And a library for that horrendous past? It is like Pinochet requesting a library in a Santiago neighbourhood! They want to exhume his remains and hang it in a public square.
