What he is saying is that, Ndc have no moral authority to call for any resignation when it's leader now, Haruna Iddrisu had it's Masters degree denied not because he quoted somebody's words without acknowledging them but Haruna cut copied an entire manuscript of somebody's work and presented as his own to get a degree and this is the guy they have made their leader with future Presidential ambition.

At least the young guy Eugene Arhin had accepted his mistake and apologized. Actually the original speech was not made by Bush or Clinton but was made in 1925 by Wildrow Wilson. I didn't even hear President Bush giving credit of that part of his speech to President Wilson.

Ofui, the state you live in California does not require you to go to law school to get a law certificate. You can take the bar examination without going to law school and become a lawyer and three other states in USA also allows that, Vermont, Virginia and another state.

Akuffo Addo got his law certificate after studying at one of the Inns in London like many important world leaders and some Ghanaians including Casely Hayford.

He had apologized for it, something none of the babies with sharp teeth in Ndc did when even they insulted Priests and Elders in society.

The guy has apologized, hopefully this will not happen again. He acknowledged all the other quotes and if you asked me, I will say this was not a mistake, he thought this was done by a USA President and nobody will remember that but I will advise people to refrain from doing this because with internet, all one has to do when they suspect plagiarized material is to type it on the net and seek source.

Plagiarism is when one uses other people's idea or language without acknowledging the person or persons who originally created that idea and pretend they are the original work of the person using it, according to the Oxford Dictionary. Copyright is the right given to an author to prevent other people from reproducing their work for commercial purpose except for research and education. So Wilson might have said that long ago and his work could be reproduced and sold 70 years after his death but he still needs to be credited when his ideas or words are used.

Mustapha must get it clear that irrespective of who is involved, plagiarism is wrong and unacceptable. The Communication Director at the Presidency must be congratulated for his courage to acknowledge that what happened was wrong and for apologizing and I think the matter should end there. That is the right attitude and that is what Ghana needs. The call for him to resign is pure politics. On the other hand, any attempts at equalization by bringing in the minority leader in this discourse is futile and immature. Plagiarism borders on corruption and any attempt to justify it kicks against the very foundation of President Akufo Addo's governance principles as per what he has told Ghanaians.

Secondly, if, however, it turns out that he's in fact a 'lecturer', then not in a university but a school under tree; and the subject he's lecturing is most likely to be something along the lines of how to reason foolishly and childishly! It's common knowledge to all Ghanaians that honourable Haruna Iddrisu did not plagiarize anybody's work without any acknowledgement, the alleged plagiarized material in honourable Haruna's thesis wasn't his own addition rather his supervisor's who as at the time had taken ill by stroke when the issue came to the notice of the academic board of the university of Ghana. It's very disheartening that a lecturer who should have better is rather defending that distasteful act of his president especially on a memorable day of that calibre in our country's history. We were in this country when Mustafa Hameed and his other npp communicators were calling for heads to roll when a portion of former president John Dramani Mahama's speech went missing. To sum it up, is Mustafa Hameed saying that because honourable Haruna's was put to test on plagiarism which led to the withdrawal of his mphil thesis the unacknowledged verbatim copies from the two former presidents of America in president Nana Addo's inaugural speech shouldn't be questioned? Mr. Mustafa Hameed can only left with his own conscience.

Plagiarism is when someone fails to recognize the owner of an article or content but Akufo Addo recognized four people he coated, so failure to recognize ex president Bush can only be said to be oversight.

Not any where near recognising the country's facing issues and building up the right commitment and lasting solutions to gear up the country's future for now and the generation to come.why do the world's institutions see plagiarism as a criminal office? Is because is a way of deceiving people on one's ability, if the NPP have clear set down solutions to Ghana's problems, I believe Nana's speech would have tailored all without being plagiarised as we are seeing.
