Martin Amidu must certainly be aware that the administrative lapses sent to the Supreme Court in 2013 were also prevalent in many of the Polling Stations won by the Petitioners, a famous example being Hon. Freda Prempeh's Tano North Constituency.

Listening to Amidu carefully, one gets the impression that he's suggesting that that Election was actually STOLEN at the Supreme Court. This is very irresponsible on his part. Are elections won by a slim margin necessarily stolen. Some Parliamentary Elections are known to have been won by three votes only. Why should a Presidential Election won by a 51% margin be necessarily a stolen verdict? Amidu's non-inclusion in the Mahama government appears to have affected his ego and consequently his sense of judgement. He is a prejudiced opportunist by any standard and cannot be taken seriously. His references to the middle class to whom he appeals for support against Mahama and his lot incidentally reveals the poverty in the NDC's claim of being a social democratic party. That explains the sameness of interests represented by both the NDC and the NPP as well as the sameness in their essential policy directions. Hence, between the NDC and NPP there is no real choice to be made! The real change is yet to come to throw both the NDC and NPP into the deepest depths of the dustbin of African history. The preceding explosion might appear out of sync with the celebrated tolerance in the misconceived Ghanaian character. It'll be a pleasant shock to the thieving middle class in its generality, that is, including petty-bourgeois opportunists like Martin Amidu. Massive destruction!
