WHEN SOME OF THOSE PLAYERS ARE DOING BETTER OUTSIDE IN BETTER ORGANIZED LEAGUES AND ARE WILLING TO PLAY FOR THE COUNTRY, WE SHOULD USE THEM. THE ORGANIZERS OF THE LOCAL LEAGUE DON'T SEEM TO CARE WHAT KIND OF FIELD THE PLAYERS PLAY ON, HOW THE OFFICIATING GOES OR HOW THE PLAYERS PLAY. Last i heard local clubs are recruiting foriegn managers all over africa and they appear to be reaching the final stages of african football so whats your beef sarpong. Local coaches are the problem. In other countries club coaches discover talents with problem areas of the national team in mind. For how many years every ghanaian is a midfielder when we need strikers. 14 goals in ghana league is no reason for bs call up. Train 30 goal strikers. If nigeria can do ghana local coach can do.wawa coach sarpong. Old ideas.

There are numerous scouts from european leagues who look at players in ghana and the best are brought to Europe...not in a top premier or la liga team but smaller leagues. These are the leagues that Grant should be monitoring. A player in the Greek, Russian, or Swedish league may be good enough to break into the Black Stars...but not someone from the Ghana League. Sorry.

Are these the players you would select if your were the coach for the Black Stars? All you know is criticisms with nothing to show. We are tired of the likes of coaches Opeele, Eben, etc. The good coaches hardly criticise the Black stars or other coaches in public.

Stop promoting bad players. The players you mentioned in your article above, if they were good enough I am sure Coach Grant would have selected them.

Presently, no local player is fit for the Black Stars. They could not even qualify for the competition exclusively reserved for them, ie, the CHAN. How someone believes they can help us qualify for world cup or win AFCON is difficult to understand.
