However, SuperSport also didn't take the GH League serious like the other African leagues they broadcast. The Ghana league had the potential to compete with the psl in a few years due to private ownership unlike in Nigeria and better indigenous talent unlike in RSA. They didn't want that threat. Ghanaian club administrators are also lazy, they don't run the clubs professionally and know next to nothing about marketing and promotion.
