The so called "social intervention" is an excuse for government reneging on its responsibility of job creation policies and all-inclusive development. There are adequate fiscal policies which have instant job creation effects. For example, let Ghana drop its duty on manufacturing machinery, equipment and inputs to a net of only 5% as is the case in Dubai and witness how many factories will crop up all over the country in a short time creating jobs we have never seen before in the history of this country. Increased industrial production will fuel exports to countries within the Ecowas and beyond while boasting government revenues through moderate corporate and personal income tax. Another outcome of such policy would be a boost in the country's foreign exchange reserves which will stabilize the cedi and bring down inflation. High duties and levies on factors of production stifles business and, therefore, the economy and in turn brings about massive unemployment and grossly reduced government revenues as we are witnessing today. Moreover, the energy sector should be freed and duties and levies should be waved for sometime to allow massive private sector investments which can bring efficient structural adjustments in the energy sector to the benefit of the country. When there are jobs in a country like Ghana where the family system is strong social interventions become a family affair rather than the preoccupation of the government. Government social intervention scheme is a clear indication of government fiscal policy failure, i.e. policies in support of job and weath creation. Therefore, Ghanaian government should refrain from glorifying social intervention and investing in the demeaning sector which in the long run creates more paupers in the country and, therefore, cannot be sustainable. Give me seeds and I create generations of farmers but give me banku and we will eat it today and come back for more tomorrow.

Well ; the trouble is would the ordinary Ghanaian or for that matter the NDC GOONS and RATS understand this burden been put on Ghanaians by Jon Mahama in terms of their borrowing spree ; the answer is -NO WAY !!!!!!; this government is not a wealth creative government ; it is a spend spend government through the means of sole sourcing contracts and award of contracts besides the deficit painted which requires both internal and external financing through heavy borrowing adds more to our debt stock ; the trouble is what if there is commodity or financial turbulence in the markets because the figures outlined assumes that everything been equal there will no market turbulence both internally and externally and that the macro-economic assumptions for 2017 will hold; this is not correct any turbulence will send the whole figures tumbling like a pack of cards; to me NDC have not got a clue and are just clueless and for the NPP it is going to be complete financial nightmare for the new government ; there are certain variables in the equation they may have no choice to control -wages ;salaries and interest payments and all other payments ; if Nsna Addo wins; he is got real problems to tackle and for Jon Mahama and the NDC; NO Ghanaian worth their brains should listen to them because ; if they win again there is not much they do ; all their promises will be 'BULL' ; these are thiffs !!!!!!!! and bandits .
