Who is rather fooling and misleading Ghanaians?
When people ask government to be prudent,it doesn't mean they're against developments but spending within your means.
This propaganda by NDC and Nkrumah followers that the party of Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition opposed or were wrong to warn of Nkrumah's reckless spending which bankrupted the country,is so annoying and utter nonsense.
The same mistakes Nkrumah did and caused Ghana's problems which have been hard to recover from are the same being repeated by this NDC government.
No serious and sensible government runs a successful economy through excessive borrowing and reckless spending.
Why is it so difficult for these people to understand that piling up debts with high interest rates with no real means to pay back rather spell doom and gloom?
All we keep hearing are so called achievements of Nkrumah and now Mahama but we never hear that anything built on falsehood and proper foundation crumbles.
The true fact of the matter is Ghana has never been governed well since the so-called independence not even Kwame Nkrumah who Mahama and his NDC together with Nkrumahits keep reminding us of.
Ghana's limited resources have been wasted without proper planning on projects which have turned out to be disastrous.
The argument should be about the money spent on such projects and their cost effectiveness.
Take Tema which was supposed to be a model city.Compare how much went into that project and see if it's worth it?
Some fair minded people quote the cost of a project like a hospital built in the advanced countries which is by sophisticated than a hospital built in Ghana and yet the cost of Ghana's is about twice or more than in those countries. What does that tell us?

Every district and every region in Ghana is complaining of lack of infrastructural development. Topping the list of complains is Ho municipal areas recently that want to block political campaigns by parties, if their bad roads are not fixed in 2 weeks. Has Dr Ayine not heard the cry and threat to national security of the electorates from NDC's world bank ? Has he not heard the people from Upper East region complaining of lack of government projects ? Dr Ayine must stop pretending as if all is well with the country. He should go to Volta, Western, BA and Upper West regions before he generalises his findings of the state of the country's infrastructural development. How much money was borrowed and what percentage really went into development ? This is the concern of Ghanaians.
