Some of the things that have taken place in Ghana since Mahama ascended the presidency makes me thing that Ghana is an authocratic nation and no where near to democracy.
Just thinking about what took place recently when the NPP try to have a discussing on Mahama's accetance gift of a ford truck by a person who is doing business with Ghana. The speaker of the house single handedly kills it.Is that really democracy that took place at the house?
Ghana's democracy is no democracy at all, these things would never happened in UK,USA,France nor Germany.
This NDC democracy is no democracy,it is authocracy. Mr Daboussi should sue the BNI and the government of Ghana for his wrongful detention. I wish I was a law I will take up his case freely.

Let us be very careful in this country about the way we jump to defend foreigners when they take our hospitality for granted. I am a hundred percent npp and will continue to be. It is about time we distinguished between a threat to national security and party politics. No country in the world would allow a foreigner, more so, an Arab for that matter, to be doing what this Fadi is doing. Until we vote and kick out Mahama, he is still the president and deserve all the respect due him. It's unfortunate that, we have failed to learn lessons from some of these things. If there is one thing that Ghanaians cherished so much, it is peace. And for my party to be seen to be doing the exact opposite by supporting some of these things, all I can say is that, we have a long way to go. I am not too sure what positive impacts all the daring and the allegations against the president by this man would have on the npp. How many people read the nonsense he has been writing? At the end, it is the npp who will suffer for it, since we seem to be supporting a threat against this country. We have a long way to go. Here is the man himself pleading and accepting his faults. So why the moise by the npp in the first place?

It must be borne in mind that the NPP is predominantly an Akan Party and from its birth in the 1940s, its leading candidate has always been an Akan. If such an information exists and it has been passed to Fadi, Ghanaians must be very cautious as to where it was coming from.

In the West sex has been used as entrapment for promising politicians who then fall on their swords at the most crucial moments of their callings. This must not be allowed in African politics. Sex scandals in the Monarchies of the West has no home until they achieved self-sufficiency. In other words, no brilliant African leader must become victim to SEX. Sex could easily be used as entrapment and Ghanaians as well as Africans must be wise to it.

In Ghana and Africa, a mere taxi driver or truck pusher could have wives or wife and concubines but a Government Minister or Presidential Candidate could be chastised for such? If, in truth His Excellency John Mahama has fathered a child with someone’s wife and the woman happened to be the daughter of the Ashantehene – it must in no way play against him at all. It is their domestic affair.

Any attempt to place even the slightest weight on this will simply be playing into the hands of (ON BASIS OF AN AKAN WOMAN AND PLAYING INTO THE HANDS OF AN AKAN PARTY).

Once again, it was on record that ex-French President Francois Mitterrand had alluded that if he ever punishes a Minister who has had extra-marital affair, he will be surrounding himself with homo-sexuals. These are weighty statements. This is coming from the developed West.
