  Why don't you just say that only the rich should be permitted to import vehicles? How many Ghanaians can afford a new vehicle. You are assuming the new cars will never get old. You could institute other solutions such as bi-annual emission test for all vehicles in the country. That is what is done in some of the advanced countries, they do not insist that citizens your drive only new cars.

  Can you see Ghanaian cannot buy new car because the clearing fee in the harbour is always going up due to that decent cars has become so expensive to buy. We are just exploiting ordinary Ghanaian

  THIS IS HOW THE GERMANS DO: EVERY CAR HAVE TO GO TO TEST IN EVERY 2 YEARS. BETTER TO ASK GHANAIANS BASE IN GERMANY THEY WILL TELL YOU MORE ABOUT.

  So if only newer cars are imported to Ghana. ....... assuming its diesel powered......they will be filled with high sulphur content diesel...........which to my understanding is toxic.........and not good for the car ..... . ...

  So if only newer cars are imported to Ghana. ....... assuming its diesel powered......they will be filled with high sulphur content diesel...........which to my understanding is toxic.........and not good for the car ..... .. i personally saw a 2015 TOUAREG IN GHANA WHICH A FRIEND HAS........AND IT HAD A BOLD INSCRIPTION, SOMEWHERE AROUND THE DASH INSERT......USE ULTRA LOW SULPHUR DIESEL. ............so how do we solve this problem by importing only new cars .........and still use bad diesel of high sulphur content. .............Are this people at the helm of affairs ....that dumb and full of toddler brains. ...?

  When I tell you the so called Ghanaian elite is useless you would not believe. I like the question of the first commentor, gow many Ghanaians can buy those new vehicles?
  To a governmrnt is saying that they are bringing in buses under some busing policy. The question is, after you have kicked the trotro drivers off the roads and they are home what then will they and their families eat?
  How did this so called educated Ghanaians go to school what at all did they learn? Is it that the citizenry gave you work to to do at their own detriment? Assuming you take the Trotro drivers off the.street do you know thenumber of other industries you would be taking down with.them? We are talking about upholster, fitters,welders spareparts dealers and so on have you an elite thought about all this?
  Well a time is just arround the corner where you.would be ruing your initiatives if you people dont stop this
