Ghanaians are relatively new to owning and Trading Stocks. So, we should not be surprised that the Stock Exchange has not seen any consistent growth. Secondly, the Economy is nothing to write home about, and Companies are barely surviving.
We must see a stronger export driven Market to bring along growth in the Stock Exchange. We need a massive Public education to shore up local ownership in the Companies on the Exchange. But people's interest can hardly be waxed up to inspire them in that direction if they cannot find well-paying jobs, or are losing their smaller businesses to failing Economy.
