Politics the world over is a game of interests. Under the guise of democracy, vested interests mount the waves of various media to promise the skies and end up woefully under-delivering. The politicians who in most cases are egomaniacs try to pull the wool over the eyes of the gullible electorate , by promising them that they will lead them to a developed and better condition, only for this to happen only in the pockets of the ruling class. Once again people like Bawumia will like us believe that just because he is good at pointing out the foibles and failures of the current group of the ruling class means that he earn the right to ride on a wave that seeks to fundamentally change society for the better. Nothing could be further from the truth than this position of
"holier than thou". For in the end what ends up happening is a revolving door of election cycles in which one thing that is constant is the changing of one looting group for another. The NPP is throwing big Cedi investments out there ON CAMPAIGN PLATFORMS without giving us a comprehensive budget that will capture how they plan to fund those expenditures.
