Yet another opportunity to steal more money as was done at Aboadze where the project cost was inflated by 50% for a sub par gas processing plant. And the stolen money ended up in the pockets of the usual suspects, Buah, Yankey, Botwey, Mr Ford Incompetent, Baffoe Bonnie and their surrogate in Houston who shall remain nameless. I can bet you a similar scheme has been in hatched in Houston with their surrogate.

a leader with a vision always thinks of the future rather than the current state of his or economy. this project is more important to our nation than its cost.I would be glad if this project would be at the cost of all the resources of this nation in the oil fields because this is the only way citizens of this nation can benefit directly from our oil fields. beware that the opposition n.p.p only criticized projects that are viable and keep quite on those that are not viable. j m toaso

Please stop all this spending. We are being ripped off cos politicians are inflating costs and asking ordinary Ghanaians to pay for it.

Based on the numbers being quoted for this project the price per mile/inch is approximately US$71,000. A quick google search of the price per mile/in for an on land gas pipeline such as what is being proposed is approximately US$40,000-50,000 in the USA. Why is ours costing at least 50% more?

Drop this unnecessary partisanship and think about the benefits of such an investment in terms of how it will help stabilise our gas and energy requirements as a country. After all the Akans say ''NIMYE DI BI''to wit she/he who does the cooking will obviously taste the food before it gets to the table. Let us focus more on the returns of this investment when it is completed.

Oh Jesus Christ, where are you? This is a dumb idea. Why build such an extensive an sprawling infrastructure that can be easily exposed to sabotage, theft, and terrorist attacks? Transport the shit via special vessels and barges on the sea and make sure Ghana navy provides constant security during the journey.
TWho the fuck is this idiot called Sipa Panyin Yankey? This known thief. Am so disappointed?
Instead of Aboadze-Tema, why don't you go farther inland towards Kumasi and therefore the north? Guys be strategic for once. Stop being dumbasses. This is another stupid project that is going to take years to construct at over bloated cost.
I pray that if this plan should hold, God send the NDC and Mahama into opposition. The stupidity is becoming way too much. This is absolute nonsense.

First, you claim it is a stupid project, it is risky, they should use special vessels and barges guided by the navy.
Then you claimed they should send it to Kumasi and inland. Would taking it to Kumasi remove the risk?

I am an Asante, but I hate to argue blindly, and wish everything good is given to Ashanti Region. Loans for the project must be paid, and you know more than 70% of Ghana"s economic activities take place in the South.
Dumsor has been more of a problem in Accra than anywhere in Ghana so guess where the immediate need for the gas is.
This man again?
