Firstly, there is no Professional Medical Officer in UK or for that matter in Europe, and in Germany especially, who would release the medical Report of his patient to the Public. Also the fact that this Report is so distorting, shows how African Watch, a Nigerian Magazine and a supporter of the NDC, just wants to scare Ghanaian people.Therefore, we do not believe this Report. it is just a Propaganda. Secondly there is nothing wrong for Nana Akuffo Addo to seek a medical attention.It shows how he cares very well about his health. Why is it that many young people in Ghana and in Africa in general, are dying very young because they do not seek medical attention.Thirdly, any person whether young or old who does not seek medical attention will have it difficult to prevent health problems. The diagnosis of prostrate cancer, even if true, is not a death sentence by itself. The crucial question is whether the cancer is malignant or benign at this stage. In fact, many men live normal lives and die with benign prostrate cancer. It is only found out during the post-mortem examination. The PSA test is unreliable and many physicians in the US do not require it. Also early diagnosis is always a huge plus. Nelson Mandela, Bill Cosby, Harry Belafonte...and many others survived Prostrate Cancer. The diagnosis by itself is not a death sentence. Early diagnosis, if the cancer is malignant, increases the chances of cure!
