    As this is income tax and casual workers are self employed,the casual workers should be responsible for declaring their income and paying income tax and not the person or persons they are providing the services to. This is in ...

    Earl Jones, you are right but I think the 5% is not the final tax to be paid by the casual worker.The 5% should be a withholding tax deducted at source by the employer. When the casual worker files his tax returns this amount ...

    How is the Minister going to check this? We have no addresses, no list of unemployment so how can the Government, the Minster or the Officer come to my village to check the labourer l took to my Farm today?
