Cost of a pajaros on spintex road is about 1.8 billion cedis 2 is equal to 3.8 billion for Akua for what.ls this coming from the Presidents pocket from the tax payer.How many of this pajaros have been given out.We keep borrowing to just bribe Rand win elections and wreck this country.Where are we going,what holds for the future of our children.NOTHING CONCRETE WILL COME OUT.Fellow GHANAIANS let's wrestle this country from these Destroyers Our country is being wrecked let's come out in Numbers and rescue it

  This does not come as a surprise at all.It is obvious Ghana's health care particularly the Ghana Health Service is a failed institution bedeviled by dirty politics,nepotism,cronyism,open ethnic prejudice and hate under its current leadership to the neglect of basic priority health care.The Ghana Health Service with Dr.Ebenezah Appiah Denkyira as its Director General is a pale shadow of itself and effectively run as a private corperate entity rather than a key public organization in which an organize crime syndicate under the supervision of the DG is just solely interested in corrupt and illegal maneuvers aimed at personal fortune rather than problem solving.Mass uncontrolled looting under cover in the name of offering health services is what currently prevails in the GHS.Structures and systems that will ensure effective health delivery are weak or simply non-existent under a very corrupt and irresponsible leadership mainly for their selfish,narrow parochial interest rather than a duty to national call.One does not need a binoculars to see health care and services in Ghana is chaotic and shambolic without tangible innovation to solve very simple health problems. Even before the advent of GHS,Ghana had a very effective Primary Health Care System that ensured effective and efficient health delivery service in priority areas.The GHS as an important autonomous organization formed to ensure improved health care have confused and destroyed the whole concept of PHC because of dirty politics,corrupt and ineffective leadership.A measure of that is the appointment of Appiah Denkyira himself as the Director General of GHS without merit in the midst of competent and very innovative persons like Dr.Kokoo Awoonor Williams.We are so moved in this country by high flown qualification and age to the detriment of practical and innovative thinkers who are great achievers.Worse is the fact that key appointments in this country like health have huge political under tone including lobbying and bribery much to the detriment of competence and achievements.Dr.Ebenzah Appiah Denkyira was the Upper West Regional Director of Health for donkey years but achieve nothing other than collapsing health care and services in the region which happens to have one of the highest if not the highest prevalence of malnutrition in the country.It was quiet incredible he rewarded himself 'post-humorously' by having a Ward in Wa Regional Hospital named after him mainly through lobbying by his corrupt henchmen despite the monumental failure as the Regional Director. It cannot therefore be by coincidence that Ghana is losing a whopping Gh.C4.6billion to malnutrition.It makes a lot of sense with him as DG of GHS.Malnutrition is mostly a rural problem and has myriad of health,social and economic implications.Because we have a weak health system under a corrupt and irresponsible leadership,basic health policies,programmes and projects cannot be implemented.For instance the PHC clearly spells out where we should find a Medical Assistant or a Physician Assistant.At least level A and B that is Sub-District and District levels respectively.Because of a confused and chaotic health care under a clueless and corrupt leadership most of them are lump in urban areas in regional and municipal hospitals including teaching hospitals needlessly and fiercely competing for space with doctors where they are not really needed.If most of them were to be deployed to the Sub-District and District levels,properly trained and supervised,significant gains can be made since malnutrition is predominantly a rural problem with very high prevalence in rural Ghana.Another indicator of ineffective training and supervision in malnutrition despite regular workshops is the fact that clinicians including doctors hardly recognize cases of malnutrition not to even talk of asking for,assessing and interpreting Centile Weight Charts as part of Growth Monitoring and Promotion.These are instances in urban areas only giving an indication of the enormity of the problem in rural areas and the country in general.A lot of donor fund from bilateral and multi-lateral organizations go into Reproductive and Child Health malnutrition inclusive.A colossal 4.6billion Ghana Cedis lost because of malnutrition simply point to the fact that projects and programs implemented particularly by the GHS are ineffective and inefficient.We have a situation where water is simply being poured in a leaking bucket because of toothless,lazy,corrupt and irresponsible management who are just there to make personal fortune rather than think and solve dire but simple problems like malnutrition.Yet what Dr.Ebenezah Appiah Denkyira can do as the DG of GHS is to shamelessly concoct,fabricate and falsely implicate colleague doctors with mental illness,dismiss them on the basis of same purely on grounds of ethnic prejudice,hate and dirty politics in less than a month in office without audience.That he is filthy corrupt,reckless and irresponsible in his actions is tacitly supported by the fact that he took the decision to cover corrupt cronies in Effia Nkwanta hospital whose activities were needlessly killing patients in that hospital whiles they illegally made their money.If a Director General can dismiss doctors to cover rather than investigate an illegal act that led to the death of teenager because she could not afford a bribe of Gh.C50 for blood transfusion,then his integrity and sense of responsibility is undoubtedly questionable.If a Director General can dismiss doctors in less than a month in office without seeing their faces in support of cronies,then we can safely conclude he is indeed an adhoc health administrator only good at adhoc management.If the Mahama Government is serious about the collapsing health care in the Country,serious health reforms in the GHS is imperative and it must begin with carefully scrutinizing and examining the capacity and ability of the DG to perform as an institutional head.The whole of Ghana saw the glaring lapses of this disastrous health manager when he was invited by the PAC.The Health Minister,Hon.Alex Segbefia have to come to his aid time and again to curb an embarrassing spectacle.
