Nigeria has 8 of these plants lying idle due to either lack of gas or diesel yet they produce 2 million barrels of crude per day in good times and flare/burn the gas by product daily as waste. After all the major investment in plants the country had active power capacity of 2983 megawats in July 2016. Energy experts and politicians maybe leading us in the wrong direction whilst empowering themselves financially to acquire assets in DUBAI!! We need a radical change but obviously the 2 major parties CANNOT deliver it!!
