Ghana is not a poor Nation but for lack of self control, lack of discipline, and mismanagement, we have enforced poverty on this Great Nation with impunity, and brought ourselves this low.
Well, we went to the IMF for their $1 Billion, and those are the strings attached to it - there is no free lunch here. After all, what is $1 Billion for a Nation like Ghana, if we are to be truthful to ourselves?
Well, there is a saying that, "if you put your hands in a ghost or a devils food, you are bound to eat it whether you like it or not." So go ahead and swallow the IMF bitter pill, and learn some sense next time; PERIOD!

The writer is all over the place, showing a considerable lack of understanding of the issues. Please sit up. The main import of the article is just half of the verbose, long write up! Extremely poor from a business newspaper.

Most nations do not borrow the way we do. if they borrow it is to import specific technology which they do not yet have.

Where the piece dwells on developed nations applying zero deficit financing is one thing IMF must be told in plain truth that it won't work in Africa
