Thev threat was directed to him directly, he did not recuse himself and hide behind a colleague to extract vengeance, a la Justice Georgina Woods. He forgave Sir John who attacked him personally. Now the clock has turned fool cycle.
The same Sir John's lawyer, Ayequaye Ottoo was the first to call for the heads of the Muntie FM trio. You see the world. No wrong is goo big to forgive, especially if it is within your capacity to so. NPP and their supporters are showing a very basic weakness in human beings. This article is neither here nor there. It is irresponsible for this paper to seem to balance public opinion when in fact our democratic institutions are being threatened by hooligans and misfits in society.

This article is neither here nor there. It is irresponsible for this paper to seem to balance public opinion when in fact our democratic institutions are being threatened by hooligans and misfits in society.

The dumb Ghanaian inserts partisan politics in every nook and cranny of daily living. Instead of advocating for the sanctity of our democratic institutions in the media and enjoin the citizenry to do same, you are rather pontificating the responsibility of citizen's free speech. No civilized society would interpret an attack on the Supreme Court as free speech, especially in a largely illiterate society.

Attacking our democratic institutions is a direct attack on our democracy, and the country including the media must wage war against such behaviour. We the people in Ghana are like pigs, we have no value for pearls when we see them, instead we trample over them and render them useless. The Supreme Court is the vanguard of our democracy, and by savagely threatening the lives of our most distinguished men and women is no free speech by any stretch of the imagination. We must condemn in no uncertain terms those riffraff in society who knowingly or unknowingly assail our sacred democratic institutions.

This is the message the media should put across to society, because the media has a responsibility to protect our fledgling democracy.
