It's only illiterate NPP apologists that will applaud this kokoase professor. What difference would four weeks make if for the past two years, Nana Akufo Addo had failed to convince Ghanaians to vote for him. Indeed, the extra four weeks will provide the President more opportunities to complete and commission more projects and bring the hydra-headed power situation under control. In the end analysis, the NPP will be completely annihilated.

Certainly it is time for Mahama to retire Nana Addo and his cronies from active politics since they have no policies which will help transform Ghana. President Mahama on the other hand has introduced proactive policies such as the BASIC EDUCATION CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (BECE) RESIT POLICY, which allows candidates who did not excel in their exams at the Basic level to re-sit their BECE as private candidates. In effect, these are persons who, but for this

The only change you these thieving and crooked NPP loudmouths and hypocrites will see in November will be clueless incompetent monumental failure Serial Loser Akufo-Addo receiving his third loss, forcing him to exit Ghana politics and freeing the NPP from the shackles and cluelessness of Serial Loser Akufo-Addo. This exit will in turn create a change within the NPP, giving it a breath of fresh air while allowing the party to pick a flagbearer who is not a born loser like clueless Akufo-Addo.

Uh.! for God's sake how do we have such hollow headed academics like Dr. Prempeh impacting knowledge to our children in the Universities, no wonder our children leave the terciary institutions and yet still think like they've just written teir WAESCE Examination. If the November 7th could play in the advantage of the NPP to continue to highlite the weakness of Mahama administration; how couldn't the same 4'weeks period innure into an advantage for the Government to roll in more unfinished projects dotted everywhere and also gave room to improve all the that NPP agitators are talking about. The period of extention to Dec. 7th offers non of the parties any advantage particularly the NPP which continues to condemn the Government's achievements eventhough their stance over the years have become hypocritical and majority of decerning Ghanaians know this, that NPP has nothing more to add to their usual lies and deception except the usual recycling of old SADA noise, WOYOME, DUMSOR, FORD SAGA which turned out to be vague and useless attention seeking venture, INFLATED CONTRACTS noises, GDP and I wonder how many Ghanaians understant the cocept of GDP even in the cities, the usual CORRUPTION noises which the NPP are themselves not totally absolved of during the tenure of President Kuffour. The NPP obviously has no message for Ghanaians and the 4 weeks extention is simply a postponement of an impending defeat staring them in the face. PERIOD

Ben, you are right in one sense:Ghana lacks real thinkers else who would support Mahama's, ETHNOKLEPTOCRACY! What political leadership needs are ability to mobilize people with the right ideas of economic progress, the will to listen to people with the right ideas that can move the country forward. the goodwill to motivate them to serve their country without thinking of serving only their individual financial problems at the expense of the country. This requires that the Leader should serve a good example of probity and accountability. If the Leader 's corruption borders on kleptomania, if the Leader's hidden agenda is use the entire resources of the country to serve only his ethnic origin and people of his ethnicity, then others will follow his example and steal the country blind with impunity! Look at what is happening in Ghana today. Go to any Ministry or Gvt institution and it is crammed with Northerners, with Ewes following them at a distant second. This means that Mahama's govt. is using only a fraction of Ghanaians who have been trained at great expense to spearhead the development of the country. The pity of it is that they do not go back to the North to use their stolen money to develop the North but stay in Accra to use the money to build mansions and buy expensive cars and look down with arrogance on their fellow Northerners who have no means of stealing. Of course other ethnic groups are involved in the free-for-all looting of the country under Mahama. But they don't care because when they are caught they will only be transferred to the Flagstaff/Jubilee House without punishment! No past Gvt. has created so many Ministers of State!

My brother I am so sad about your myopic mindset and your mediocrity. Your xenophobic mentality against some Ghanaians is rather pitiful and tells how primitive you are. People like you will never be allowed in the governance of this country. Ghana is one unit and facilities cited in the northern parts of Ghana are not exclusively for Northerners or even only Ghanaians. In this space and ICT Age we are in a global village. You have earned for yourself the dignity of a moron. No wonder the NPP with thwarts like you will surely remain in the opposition for a very long time. Corruption did not start from Northern Ghana. It is a cancer we should all fight and not to condone. Apart from Malam Issah who was framed and sacrificed because he did not belong to the NPP how many NPP officials from Freddie Blay et al , though corrupt and stingy as they are were ever brought to book not to mention prosecution in the NPP establishment. This confirms that Dr Mumuni Bawimia will never have the chance to be president under the NPP. People like you belong to the past and have no business in Modern Ghana. You belong to the forests where you were brought up. You short black ugly monkey.

What humans intend for evil , God has always intended for good and so shall it be. Kwasi Prempah hasn't thought of the fact that an extra month will rather ensue that the President might fix the problems and the NPP might shoot their foot rather and things will rather turn against them in that extra month. The will of God will definitely not be the will of men but his grace will not take Mahama where he cannot protect him. False prophets who met with Nana Akuffo Addo prophesied that the 7 number was bad and so was the number 11. Political scientist? No wonder our graduates cannot think. he lecture reason was very shallow indeed and he was really one sided with his reasoning. Though it is a valid point, the solution to our problem cannot have quick fix and prolonging it by one one will have no effect on the election. More seriously, it simply means the NPP is not ready and needs more time to prepare. But if this is the reason, then, I can conclude that they have done disservice to Nana Addo who will surely struggle with a prolong campaign because of his age and strength. Secondly, a party that is struggling to raise funds, extending the campaign for another month will be financially disastrous. and Finally, can you imagine how many more Senior Secondary Schools will Mahama commission before the election and this could prove to decisive in a number of constituencies.
I think this is bad calculation and NPP will struggle to defend the idea that they have given more time to Mahama.
But if it is because they think somene has promised them some funds and they need more time for the money transfer to hit their account at the Prudential Bank, then may be it makes sense but at what cost?

Traditional Satanism is not simply an inversion, but a complete rejection of the images of a
00233244908520particular culture, religion, or philosophy. From there a Satanist uses those images against the ethos itself, that was once his own conditioning. Persons who participate in traditional Satanic masses sometimes experience a king of 'sartori', a sudden enlightenment, to an increase in their own consciousness, and feeling stronger and satisfied because they had broken with the constraining opposites. In other words, at its highest level Satanism uncovers what the ethos of a particular community or society has covered up through images, dogma, words and ideas, returning the individual to the primal chaos out of which 'opposites' were created." ~ Magister Hagur, Temple of Atazoth Office

Does this not give everyone more time to prepare, the political parties, EC and ofcourse the Governing party to complete one or two projects? This should have passed as a normally without comment, but some of our academics have lost their worth and have become arm chair commentators not different from the non-educated serial callers of the political parties. The lecturer has brought the reputation of the University into disrepute with this jaundiced unsolicited view. Aba, what desperation is this? So what happened to proper research work in the Universities?

You don't need one month to change the verdict. Just take a tour to any home in Asankragua and everyone knows their preferred candidate. Moving to November will rather have been favorable to NPP as it will reduce their cost against an NDC party which knows how to create, loot and share cash.
Also, November polls will create a conducive atmosphere to prepare for the next party in power. I personally, think, this debate should be raised again next year and the EC should impress on MPs to consider it.
MPs if they reasoned well, will have voted for November polls as this reduces their election expenditure by a month. #idontthinkfar #icantthinkmadness

The NPP is rather running away from a defeat that was fast approaching, but there would no place to hide., having wasted 8 months of everybody's time, including theirs. And this lecturer says what? If it was a genuine analysis made without any bias, then this man must be so empty that he must not be allowed to continue poisoning our kids: however, if it was a deliberately biased analysis meant to satisfy his political bias, the he must be an idiot who is prepared to sacrifice his honour and dignity for cheap political gain. logically, If your argument is anything to go by the NPP's acclaimed astute Lawyer Nana Addo should have resolved the factions in the NPP by now. what a shame. I am ashamed if this analyses are really coming from a Prof. So what happens if the antagonism and the already cracks in the NPP continue to deepen? What happens if the alleged ill-health of Nana continues to deteriorate as the date has been left as it was? What also happens if this well hatched propaganda persistently collapses as we see daily? Has the prof thought of the number of years Nana used in campaigning as against JDM's three months of campaign in the 2012 elections? Does the prof know the budget of the NPP? Many of questions can be asked. Does he mean the NDC needed this change of date with most of their MPs absent in Parliament? Even if they (majority) couldn't form the needed percentage, it could still be on record that they tried but failed. Let the prof be informed that it wasn't the NDC which proposed the change, EC thought the change was necessary just in case of ran-off which normally affect the transitional period. Besides the change wasn't meant for this election alone, so why this warped analyses? I am sure the prof was only looking at it from the NDC and NPP angles, and the least one can describe such an exercise is simply as A DEFICIENT DEFICIENT ACADEMIC EXERCISE.

Politics can indeed make even a man of high standing as a university lecturer unable to reason well. If the president can provide quick-fix solutions by November 7, why will he not be able to do that even better by December 7?
So it means that, the all-knowing professor does not agree that if the election date is rescheduled for an earlier date, it will result in a better transition leading to 7 January swearing-in. Very surprising!
It is a paradox that, it is members of the ruling government supporting an early voting while the opposition opposes it. At any rate, December 7 or November 7 will have little effect on the readiness of political parties or the EC for this year's election. As the majority leader said, any stakeholder that will not be ready for the election on November 7, will surely not be ready for it on December 7.

Worthless political analysis. Extending the poll date to December would have no impact on issues being articulated by the various parties. The election is not about having extra weeks to fix certain problems. November 7 has been the date o election till now, an extending it to December would only be necessary if it was deemed that the EC could not meet its obligation in time for the November elections. The EC has not requested an extension. Its' the NPP that has been trying to play ball with the EC, the election date, and other matters just to divert attention from the NPP's faltering campaign.
