Ghana needs a comprehensive policy document on cashew. more importantly, the plan must be effectively implemented. Long overdue.

True we cannot afford to have an economic model in Africa that fails to empower local processing and sustainable utilisation of our supply chain commodities. Unfortunately throughout my African audits of agro-processors.This is often overlooked by our government policy makers. Please lets grow up and move our agro-industry. Cashew industry potential is huge. ..but we can't even reach our precessing quota. This is clearly a gross misalignment of our industrial goals on our part as a continent. It saddens me. Governments please wake up..
