Are we going to inject water into the Volta dam to maintain capacity-Water levels? Or we will sit down in wait for the rains? Remember people in other countries have dams on the same Volta and farming alongside the river. Bui is drying up with cracks at the bottom of the lake. The boldest step is to have a mix of the various power source to include nuclear

I am wondering is the technology exist to recycle the Akosombo Dam to maintain constant flow of water to generate power. It seems like a very logical and pragmatic. But the question to Mr. Anokye is, at what cost?

Nothing is impossible. SErious and feasible engineering feats have been used in many countries to boost the level of the lake at night or at low peak periods.

May yet to know of anywhere in this world where water is pumped back into the dam to ensure adequate water levels in the dam. Mind you this is not just some "nyati nyati" irrigation dam, this is Akosombo Dam on the largest man-made lake in the world.
I want our policy makers to turn to solar and wind as major sources of our power needs but our politicians are not only stupid, they are criminals who live of the blood and sweat of the people. They will rather
implement "solutions" that guarantee their corrupt ways. If they should implement solar and wind solutions, they won't be able to cut deals to import gas and oil to fire any turbine.
Our solutions to our problems are fashioned around sustaining Corruption.

I had always believed that a certain re engineering of the akosombo dam to re direct some water source into it would help but we know politicians, if this will fetch them no monetary gain, they won't explore the option
