The government must call off the bluff of the Asanteman council.If after the apology they still insist on demanding the sack of the official then that will amount to exceeding the courtesy of government since there is nothing in the constitution which says government must have the permission of the Asanteman council before appointing its officials in the region.

It will be a precedent which government can ill afford.The council wants to tell government who to appoint that is undue luxury and an affront to rule of law.

It is unfortunate that among the so called educated Ashantes, there has been any educated Ashante to come out and tell the Asantehene and his foolish self styled government that they are exposing the primitivity of the Ashantes generally to Ghanaians and to the world at large.

This is disgraceful so l think it has even upset the president who has respect for the Asantehene. What more can one say if these Ashantes continue to tell the rest of the Ghanaians that they are very difficult people with less intelligence and unable to understand simple things administatively. In short they talk more than they can prove. What a pity!!

What a shameful exposure by the Ashantes. I believe even though the mayor KOJO BONSU had apologised yet he can see the stupidity and primitivity of the Asantehene and the primitive village minded people around him. If they don't like Bonsu, what they should have done was secretly tell the president to remove him rather than going to the media. The Ashanti chiefs should read more books to broadband their brains to know how to govern. The world is not just Kumasi. To me the respect that the Asantehene has when first sworn in as a kind is slowly diminishing not only in Ogyakrom (Ghana , but also the rest of the world. To me Kojo is not arrogant but maybe cannot reach the demand of the Asantehene's representative.
