I AM NO LAWYER SO THE LAWYERS CAN HELP US CLEAR THIS CONFUSION. I BELIEVE THE ATUBIGA SUPREME COURT WARNING WAS A DIFFERENT ISSUE FROM THIS PARTICULAR SUPREM COURT CASE.
In Atubiga's case, the supreme court place a warning and people( sir john and co ) violated it and were brought before the court for punishment.
In this case the supreme court is filing a complain to the court for being threaten by some citizens.
Those are two different situations.

My advice to the Supreme Court is to jail these two guys for at least 5 years to send a very strong signal to people with like minds. Up till now the guy who killed Parliamentarian JB Danquah is still eating and breathing free air. JAIL THEM HARSHLY.

I am very sure judges have sat on cases which they probably know individuals involved but at the end of the day its about the application of the law. Lawyers should educate us on this.

Every alleged contempt is of the court itself and not of the justices of the court. When Justice Atubugah's SC heard the contempt of the court cases against Sir John and co during NPP's petition hearing there was nothing like the SC judges being judges in their own court. Technically, contemnors are always alleged to have shown contempt to the court in question and not to the court's justices as persons. Otherwise, no court can cite someone for contempt and the same judge's sit on the case.
It seems, we are just being too petty and mischievous in raising arguments concerning politics.
