There are Ghanaian politicians and their hangers-on, as well as business people, have all STOLEN some of the nation's money and other resources, built huge mansions with it and some deposited in foreign banks and what will J.J. Rawlings say about that?

Indeed, the high level of GREED and RECKLESSNESS of handling African countries' money, by our leaders, is a disgrace and I hope JJ Rawlings will talk about what's happening in Ghana, too, and not only that of Nigeria.

The author of the article was right then and still right today judging from all the decaying situations in the African continent today. Rawlings can say all he wants, but he has failed to realize that banks in developed countries are private entities and not under control government. Therefore, no amount of cajoling or government pressure will force them to return the deposits of corrupt politicians to countries from where the funds originated.

Every public servant including govt appointees, ministers etc should account for what they have stolen from the people. The exercise should start from AFRC/P-NDC regime, running down the line through Kuffour's regime to current. So John Mahama and his corrupt NDC govt must be brought to face the people. The same people who preached probity and accountability are refusing to avail themselves to inquiries. That's hypocrisy! I still do not understand why Mr Rawlings believes that a lie detector machine can work on the Blackman,black per our nature re investors of lies.Just recently he visited the flag staff house and stated the reasons for his visit but one of such persons who can beat a lie detector Kwasi Pratt will not ve any of the reasons the former president gave in response to a twisted report and went ahead to invent his own lies on peacefm,the former president,s office is yet to respond to him directly on this matter.As long as we remain blacks there's no way we can come out of lies,so we don't need any machine to detect anything all we need is punishments to put us right,we lie as parents in front of our kids thereby passing on this habits to them on daily basis.We can start this from the former president,s house when her daughter pretended to ve a vote by visiting various polling stations to claiming she couldn't find her name when indeed she knew at the back of her head that she did not register in the first place,let situate the saying that he who seek equity must come with clean hands and see if her daughter is not to be disqualified for her lies.
