Manifestos can never decide the winner of the 2016 elections.How many ghanaians have access to the manifestos of the political parties?How many ghanaians are politically sophisticated enough to depend on manifestos to cast their votes?In a society with voting done more along tribal lines manifestos do not decide election winners.Ghana will need a more sophisticated and politically well informed society to let manifestos decide winners of elections.

If manifesto promises re anything to go by then the NDC should see itself packing out of office,one major manifesto promise they made to Ghanaians was that they ll make NHIS a one term primium but what do we hear today?that promise has rather become a model to register foreigners to choose a leader for us,Now the 20% referred to above as deciders in every election is the votes John Mahama wahala is trying very hard to steal through the EC,because if all parties can rely on their core supporters for the 40% the policy should win for them the floating votes,what I ve realize is that in most cases it the opposition that appeals to this category of voters.So all this jostle of the law by EC is because the NDC,s records as against the money they borrowed is suspect and smells badly,Dr Bawumia has pointed to them what they should do but because of arrogance and empty pride we still remain where we really re with all this resources.

Some you academics are not realist. Make a survey to find out what influence people's choice in an election and you would be amazed.

If the 2012 elections were won by a whisker notwithstanding the sympathy vote from Prez Mills' death, then these coming elections are going to be a nail biter. Things look up for the NPP because of voter fury over harsh socioeconomic conditions on the ground in Ghana and therefore Mahama will feel the full pressure of the people's frustration and anger at the polls.THE FORD EXPEDITION BRIBERY SCANDAL has even further eroded the confidence of the floating voters and the NDC has a serious credibility problem. With greater vigilance at polling stations, it will be difficult for the NDC and the EC to pull a fast one through shenanigans and doctoring of numbers.

We have a president that has been bribed with a ford expedition, now let ghanians be aware that here in the US he Mahama would step down from office because the US would not tolerate a president with bribery and corrupt scandals and that is why we find ourselves in this mess. 2016 election should be about changing this gvt and elect a gvt that is ready and willing to serve the people. Why should we retain someone that is making tge people suffer no jobs high electricity and yet they should vote for.u i dnt think so. Seriously ghana is doomed and God should intervene in this election so Ghana can bounce during the days of kufuor administration.
