Again Takoradi is too big a city not to have a Teaching Hospital and to be recording these unfortunate incidents. Look at the number of natural resources extracted from the region alone, and this is what they get from successive governments? The people of the region should demand their due. We call on Ministry of Health to set up an inspection regime for all hospitals to ensure that safety standards are not compromised in any way.

Effia Nkwanta and all hospitals must review their safety procedures immediately.

This is a lie.No pregnant woman died.Incident happened but its not true the patient died.The surgerywas relocated toanother theater & completed.

U mean the IGF which as usual get shared among senior management couldn't have been used too solve the problem b4 the catastrophe? Even when it comes to surgical needles, govt has to provide. It is poor management
