  Acheampong was absolutely right to suggest a Union Government for the country.In the light of the acrimony and the divisiveness associated with party politics in Ghana a Union Governmernt or a National Government is the best form of government for the country.Party politcs has destroyed Ghana.It has whipped up tribalism,deepened corruption and led to square pegs being put in round holes.

  This lady should have been the minister of agriculture instead of Fiifi Kwetey. Fiifi Kwetey was paid as minister of agriculture for nothing. When he was the minister in charge of financial and allied services, he connived with Woyome, Betty Mould Iddrisu etc to loot state coffers through dubious judgment debts to WOYOME, WATERVILLE, ISOFOTON, CP etc etc. The NDC is a group of incompetent men and women with a dead goat as their leader.

  Ther thee is a legacy for everything done under the son. Gen. Acheampong ruled Ghana with no IMF but we ate and got fed, you see now the 2nd lady of the group of people who ganged up to kill Kutu are now crying for his ideas. During Kutu's time there were documentary of irrigation farming in the north on the TV every friday evening. He created the meat market where meat was cheaper than the market, fishing co-operation was working, the tomato factory up north was working, the corned beef factory at the north was working and the corned beef was Volta corned beef, rice was grown in the north and we had abundant of rice which was called tu gyimi. This type of rice just a cup could feed the whole household. Then came a type of fish in abundance called ewura fua and armah, those days are gone, to extent that a herb just sprang up called Acheampong every where in Ghana where there is grass you find that herb, it was used to cure all sorts of sicknesses all of these vanished when the AFRC/PNDC came in existence. When a good man rules a nation, the nation flourishes but when a bad person rules a nation the whole nation suffers. GHANA VOTE NDC OUT.

  Hmmmm....you just made me sad with your comment. I was born in 1975 so I witnessed a litle bit of Acheampong's era but I was too young to know what exactly was going on. Rawlings was an evil man used by the West to destroy what Acheampong was trying to continue after Nkrumah.
