I am asking the same question you just asked. How can the police tell the whole world what they are doing to find the location of the abductors ? The country is still not where it should be.

This has got nothing to do with Islam it happens most often in poor countries e.g Brazil,Mexico & Nigeria.Ghana is a fertile ground for such crimes to occur.

When you carry out the action and you succeed you will be praised for that. People commit murder offences for over ten years yet the police arrest them because they keep all information and their plans secret in developed countries. Our security services mainly the Police should act so for us.

It really beats my imagination how a security agency like the Police will put in the public domain their modus operandi.

The girl managed to send a text and we publish it; don't we realise that the kidnappers will have also heard it? Maybe they did not even know the girl had sent a text or that she had a cell phone. She might have sent the text at where she is being kept and now they will certainly move her to another location and her phone taken away from her.

Nigerian Military did the same thing when the over 200 girls were kidnapped. They went on air that they knew where the girls were and Buko Haram people sent the girls to different areas and up till now they are still at large except a few who managed to escape.

Common sense dictates that you should keep your cards close to your chest. This means do not divulge any information about the how you are investigating the case. Just say you are investigating and ask people with any information to come to the Police. The Police needs to recruit intelligent people and NOT people of the calibre of this Police officer.
