SSNIT SHOULD GO BACK TO THE 5 YEARS MINIMUM CONTRIBUTION FOR A WORKER TO BENEFIT FROM THE 3-TIER PENSION SCHEME INSTEAD OF THE 10 YEARS. ALSO WORKERS SHOULD BE PAID 50% ORIGIONALLY PROPOSED INSTEAD OF THE 37% NOW.

Will it be contributions from work by these "kids" or contributions made on their behalf by their relatives? I hope we are not trying to promote child labour as we are perceived in certain parts of the world.

SSNIT laws must be changed. SSNIT must provide basic salary to all unemployed citizens on monthly basis until they are gainfully employed. SSNIT has no moral right to collect any form of contribution from citizens where they SSNIT have not invested in. This puts them in a position to bring to barest unemployment in this country with the moral right to demand contribution once the person is gainfully employed.
