We all know that Alote Jacobs was arrested. He had to divert his trip from UK to the US to avoid the shame because a whole lot of Ghanaians were waiting for him at Heathrow Airport. The money he had was meant to pay for the guns NDC is purchasing from all over the world to cause mayhem during the elections. Also a whole lot of those trying to bring guns into the country have been caught and are alredy serving jail terms in the US so Alotey went with the view to bribe officials to release those in trouble for purchasing guns abroad.
If NDC thinks we don't know this, they must come again because this is not the first time they are doing this. NDC is a thievery party and everybody is awere of it. They intend to bribe everybody but it ain't going to work this time because the true Ghanaian knows their right from left.

If you have never travelled outside Ghana, then you can be taken in by allegations such as this. How are you going to face someone who you alleged was arrested when the person was not? In any case, even if he was arrested are you his next of kin to brake the news to Ghanaians? Suddenly Ghanaians have all turned themselves into 'okro ' mouths, konkonsa people peddling untruths, and when caught they have no remorse to apologize. Instead they start playing the usual 'old magician' tricks in front of their party supporters to get their backing. Any other person watching the trick for even 12 times will never fall for it. You can excite NPP foot soldiers but you impress no other voter. For your information and this is given freely, police have the RIGHT on reasonable suspicion to pull a driver aside for search at a check point, to take a passenger in for a body search at an airport, to even detain a person who appear to them to be acting strange or bearing resemblance to a wanted person, or on whom some information might have been communicated. Afterwards if nothing is found, they offer their apologies and you go. This is standard crime prevention procedures in civilized jurisdictions. Maybe except in Ghana, where too many "Do you know who I am" are yelled at Policemen on such operations. It is not an arrest with the political twist being given by Hopeson Adorye and his NPP disciples. Not all arrests lead to prosecution, so even if an innocent person was arrested as a preventive measure and later released, must he be tagged as criminal as Hopeson is want to do? Do you know what is an arrest? The fact that a person is stopped and questioned do not mean he has been arrested. Get real. Immigration procedures require people to be stopped and checks made, but that is not an arrest.
